Yvonne King

Profile

A mainlander from Christchurch, Yvonne King met Dennis when they were both working in Invercargill.  The couple married, settled in Taranaki and together raised two children who, as adults, now are also involved in law.  Yvonne is a stalwart of equestrian activities in the region, working towards the establishment of the Waitara equestrian centre, and supporting emerging, talented equestrians by organising numerous events and taking on longstanding administrative roles.  The dedication and the commitment required for success in the sport, she believes, are equally applicable to success in law.  Yvonne was the firm’s practice manager for 5 years from its inception in 2006, but now works part time in the firm’s quality assurance programme.  Yvonne brings to her role her skills as a trained teacher, and experience in accountancy, law and management, and as Executive Officer for the Taranaki Masonic Trust and Tainui Village for a number of years.
